Simon Webbon is a communications strategist and project manager for the music, cultural and events sectors.

Based in Manchester, UK he has a decade of experience working on cross-sector collaborative projects at the intersection of music, art and technology. Simon is currently Head of Communications at the multiple award-winning live music venue and events producer Band on the Wall, and was marketing lead for the digital arts festival and cultural research lab FutureEverything, where he oversaw marketing strategy for three UK editions of the festival, plus international projects in Moscow and Singapore.

He has worked on a wide range of collaborative arts projects with the British Council, Arts Council England, Nesta, the European Commission, International Anthony Burgess Foundation, Manchester Metropolitan University, Cultural Olympiad, UK/Russia Year of Culture, Singapore Festival of Tech, and more.

He is a published photographer and journalist, with interests in music, culture and contemporary architecture and design.
